Battery and Laptop Sharing

Temple University Center City has a kiosk containing laptops and portable battery units called power banks. The kiosk is located in Lab 404 at TUCC. Students can borrow a laptop or power bank and bring it to class in the building. After class, students can then return the laptop or power bank to the kiosk.

This service is free for Temple students with a current Temple ID, and the borrowing period is up to five hours, depending on when the building closes.  Power banks include a standard three-prong outlet and USB ports, but do not include the cables that connect to devices. Make sure to bring your own cables.

Internet Access

Wireless internet access is available throughout the TUCC campus. In addition, there are Ethernet connections and power outlets around the perimeter of all lounge, seating and vending areas.

Student ID Cards

Credit students registering for the first time can have a Temple photo ID card made during the hours listed below.

Suite 215
Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Non-Credit students will be issued an ID card by their non-credit department.

Vending Machines

Vending machines are located in the seating and vending areas on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th floors. There is a vending machine for coffee in the 5th floor area. Call 215-204-7271 if there is a problem with the machines.

Lounge Areas

Lounge, seating and vending areas are located on all floors and provide good places to relax or study.

Security

Your safety is important to us. In order to better ensure that people in the building are here for legitimate reasons, all persons entering TUCC will be asked to show some form of photo identification, Temple ID, driver's license, employee ID card or passport. It is recommended that you carry your Temple ID card with you. It will be necessary to validate your discount parking.

Bicycles

Several bicycle racks are available for student use on the 15th Street and plaza sides of the building. Bicycles (of any kind) are NOT permitted in the building.
